InCyan had developed industry-leading technology for protecting digital assets, trusted by enterprise clients across the publishing world. The opportunity was clear: bring the same standard of monitoring and protection to individual photographers. That idea became Idem. Momentum joined at the inception, tasked with shaping the brand, website, and product experience in the run-up to launch. The challenge was to create an identity and user experience that felt professional and credible, while staying simple and intuitive for contributors in their day-to-day workflows. And with just weeks to move from concept to MVP, the work needed to be decisive and pragmatic.






A product built for launch and beyond
Working in parallel tracks, Momentum built the foundations of Idem. We created a clean, minimal identity with a geometric logo, restrained palette, and lightweight brand guide — enough to establish credibility without slowing delivery. On the product side, we designed the core contributor experience: uploading images, tracking usage, surfacing new matches, and reporting results. A mobile-first dashboard and customised component system kept the interface fast and legible, while the website introduced Idem with a scrolling story that explained its value clearly and confidently. The result is a focused SaaS product that takes proven enterprise technology and makes it accessible to individual photographers — with a brand and product experience ready to support future growth.
